Taking a cue from historic barnstorming tours of the 1920s, the "innovative" Zeppelin Eureka, has embarked on a month-long tour of the Pacific Northwest and will be arriving Seattle area Monday, August 23rd and staying for two weeks. The tour is being sponsored by Airship Ventures and Farmers Insurance. "Flying on a Zeppelin captures the original romance of flight, so often lost in this day of getting from A to B in the fastest time possible," commented Airship Ventures CEO Alexandra Hall. "Barnstorming the Pacific Northwest, gives us an opportunity not only to embark on a fabulous journey and introduce the airship to new fans in Farmers' communities, but also to remind people how magical soaring in the skies can be." The airship is scheduled to arrive 3 PM, Monday, August 23 at Paine Field in Everett, Washington.
